Additional Information & Customer Tips:

Can I still Park at My Regular Regional Rail Station?

The Parking Lots at most Media/Elwyn stations will not be impacted by construction, however the lots fill early and some customers may need to seek alternate parking locations. As an alternate, customers may wish to consider taking the shuttle bus from Elwyn, Media, Moylan-Rose Valley or Wallingford Stations.

During construction, the daily parking fee will be waived at Elwyn, Media, Moylan-Rose Valley, and Wallingford Stations.

SEPTA will notify customers of any changes in parking availability at a station and will provide alternate parking options.

For the safety of our customers, riders may not board a train sitting in the station until the crew has completed its safety inspection and tests. The train doors will remain closed until this testing is complete.

Why is the Viaduct Construction Happening Now?

Built in 1895, the Crum Creek Viaduct has reached the end of its useful life. The summer shutdown will ensure safe and reliable rail service on the Media/Elwyn Line will into the future.
