The Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic returns to Manayunk Sunday, June 1, 2014. The one-day race starts and finishes at the famous Manayunk Wall and follows Kelly Drive into the Strawberry Mansion and Lemon Hill neighborhoods of the city.
The day features three events, including Velothon Philadelphia, scheduled to begin at 6:45 a.m., the Women's Pro-Race at 8:30 a.m., and the Men's Pro-Race at 12:00 p.m.

Additional Regional Rail service on the Manayunk/Norristown Line will be available Sunday, June 1 for customers attending the Philly Cycling Classic.

The special schedule includes:
Added Inbound service towards Manayunk & Center City:
Service will operate every 30 minutes from Norristown Transportation Center to Manayunk and continuing to Center City between 7:43 a.m. and 6:43 p.m.
Added outbound service towards Norristown (Elm St.)
Service will operate every 30 minutes from 30th Street Station to Manayunk between 7:26 a.m. and 6:57 p.m.
Velothon Philadelphia Detours:
Routes 2, 4, 7, 16, 17, 23, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 43, 47, 47M, 47, 61, and 124/125 will run on a detour beginning at 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Routes 9, 27, 32, 35, 38, 61, 65, 124/125, K, & R will run on a detour the day of the race, beginning at 6:00 a.m. until the end of the event.
Customers can check System Status before and during the race for specific detour information.
The following ticket offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. the day of the race:
Customers may park for free at Regional Rail surface parking lots on weekends. Parking at Norristown Transportation Center is available from 6:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m. for $3 a day.
