On Independence Day, all SEPTA Regional Rail and Transit service will run on a Sunday schedule.

Routes without a regular Sunday schedule, including Route 204, 205, 310 and 316 will not run on Wednesday, July 4. Please refer to the Sunday portion of schedules for trip times.

SEPTA transit services include bus, trolley, Market-Frankford Line, and Broad Street Line service.

A Reminder To Bus Customers
Bus routes around the Welcome America celebration may experience a number of detours and delays because of street closures and additional traffic.

Route 7: Detoured between 22nd St. & Market St. and 29th St. & Girard Ave.
Route 32: Detoured between 16th & JFK Blvd. and 15th St. & Market St.
Route 33: Detoured between 16th St. & JFK Blvd. and 16th St. & Girard Ave.
Route 38: Detoured between 34th & Spring Garden St. and 34th & Market St.
Route 43: Detoured between 33rd & Spring Garden Garden St. and 19th St. & Spring Garden St.
Route 48: Detoured between Broad & Arch Sts. and 22nd St.

Speed travel by purchasing a two-pack (round-trip) of tokens at the start of your trip

A free interchange between the Broad Street Line and Market-Frankford Line trains towards Penn's Landing can be made at City Hall Station, using Stairway #3

Reach festivities at the RiverStage or Penn's Landing from either the 2nd Street or Spring Garden Market-Frankford Line stations. Bus service may encounter delays or detours in the area

Ben Franklin Parkway is best accessed from the 15th Street Market-Frankford Line Station and Race-Vine or City Hall Broad Street Line Station

Market-Frankford and Broad Street Line train service ends at approximately 12:30 a.m. Service is provided by Night Owl bus service during after-hours

Late Hour Regional Rail Service

Regional Rail service will be extended for customers leaving Center City Philadelphia after the fireworks and concert on Ben Franklin Parkway. Times shown depart Suburban Station. Trains make all local stops to the arrival destination listed.
