Philadelphia Marathon| Sunday November 17, 2013

The Philadelphia Marathon returns to Center City. Due to the course routing, several SEPTA Bus Routes and the Route 15 Trolley will operate with detours the day of the event.

Below is a list of SEPTA routes affected by the race as well as suggested service options available for some routes. Click on the Route number/letter for detour information. Click on the Suggested Service links for schedule information. Customers should check our System Status page for real-time service information before and during the event. Route 15

Route 15 will operate as 2 different bus routes, one for West Philadelphia and one for North Philadelphia/Fishtown. There will be no service between 40th and 29th Sts. Passengers needing to use both routes can connect via the Market-Frankford Line (Girard and 40th Sts).

West Philadelphia Route:
Buses will operate between 63rd & Girard and 40th & Market Sts.

North Philadelphia/Fishtown Route:
Buses will operate between 29th & Girard and Richmond & Westmoreland Sts.

Day of Race Information:

The Marathon's start and finish lines are located in the area of 22nd Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Marathon is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. Detours along all SEPTA Routes are scheduled to begin at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday. SEPTA Buses will remain on detour until approximately 9:30 a.m. or until the end of the race.
