Santa Express

The SEPTA Santa Express returns for its 26th year to kick-off the holiday season in Center City Philadelphia. Join SEPTA and Center City District for fun-filled holiday train rides and a festive parade as we welcome Santa Claus to Rothman Rink at Dilworth Park.

The fun begins in Dilworth Park on Friday, November 25th at 10:30 a.m.

There are six (6) designated Santa Express Trains:

Regional Rail Service

Media/Elwyn Line

Train #9348 departs Elywn at 9:57am. Arrives at Suburban Station at 10:39am. You can board any stop along the way.

Warminster Line

Train #6411 departs Warminster at 9:44am. Arrives at Suburban Station at 10:37am. fares apply.

Reminder | Regular weekday fares apply when riding these trains from Center City. Consider a One Day Independence Pass for quick and easy travel all day on every SEPTA service. Buy it on-board for no additional cost

Transit Service

Market-Frankford Line

A Westbound (towards 69th St. Transportation Center) Train leaves Frankford Transportation Center at 10:23 a.m. and arrives at 15th Street at 10:47 a.m.

An Eastbound (towards Frankford Transportation Center) Train leaves 69th Street Transportation Center at 10:28 a.m. and arrives at 15th Street at 10:43 a.m.

Broad Street Line

A Northbound (towards Fern Rock Transportation Center) Train leaves AT&T Station at 10:32 a.m. and arrives at City Hall at 10:43 a.m.

A Southbound (towards AT&T Station) Train leaves Fern Rock at 10:20 a.m. and arrives at City Hall at 10:45 a.m. You can board any stop along the way.

Customers will arrive in Dilworth Park just in time for a festive parade to welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves to the Rothman Rink.

Customers can also ride Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34 & 36 (to 15th Street) and Bus Routes 2, 17, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124 or 125 for service to Dilworth Park.
