New fares will take effect for all SEPTA services on July 1, 2010.

Some highlights to the new fares:
Up to 2 children on Transit, 4 years or under riding with a fare paying adult are now free at all times
Additional children on Transit need to pay the base fare
Regional Rail fares for tickets and cash payments are priced under two new categories, "Weekday" and "Evening & Weekend"
Weekday Regional Rail fares are good Monday through Friday, between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., on trains arriving or departing Center City Philadelphia Stations (30th Street, Suburban, Market East)
Evening & Weekend fares are valid Monday through Friday, between 7:00 p.m. and last train, and all day Saturday & Sunday on trains arriving or departing Center City Philadelphia Stations (30th Street, Suburban, Market East)
Disabled fares for Transit and Regional Rail will be valid at all times
Purchasing a pass or tokens provide a savings for regular riders over paying cash
An Independence Pass offers one day of seamless travel on all SEPTA services for one low price
New rates, effective July 1, 2010
$3.15 | Daily Parking, Monday through Friday
$2.25 | Daily Parking, Saturday & Sunday
$2.60 | Easy Park Card, daily rate
$41.75 | Proximity Card, monthly rate
The QuietRide Car program is being expanded to be available on all weekday trains. The first car of trains with 3 or more cars open for passenger use will be designated as your QuietRide.
Remember | Weekday trains run Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
On weekdays, bicycles will be permitted on all trains except:
Trains arriving in Center City Philadelphia stations between 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Trains departing from Center City Philadelphia stations between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sunday and major holidays, bicyles are permitted at all times
Current Regional Rail schedules will remain in effect through the end of the service day on Saturday, July 24.
However | Peak & Off-Peak shaded timetable areas will no longer apply as of July 1.
