Intermediate Tickets

An Intermediate Regional Rail ticket may be purchased when your trip on Regional Rail does not require you to travel to, from or through Center City Philadelphia.

via Center City Tickets

A via Center City Philadelphia Regional Rail ticket must be purchased when your trip on Regional Rail requires you to travel through Center City Philadelphia, whether on the same train or a connecting train.

One Day Independence Pass
Individual | $11.00* | *Add $5.00, per trip required for Regional Rail travel to/from New Jersey

The One Day Independence Pass is good for one day of unlimited travel on bus, subway, trolley, Regional Rail (after 9:30 a.m. weekdays). Up to five people may travel together with the One Day Family Independence Pass, with at least 1 but not more than 2 individuals 18 years or older

What To Do With Current Tickets

With the new fares, valid Regional Rail tickets, purchased prior to July 1, 2010, may be used as follows:
"Peak" Tickets | Valid for travel at all times
"Off-Peak" Tickets | Valid for travel weekdays with payment of $.50 step up charge
"Off-Peak" Tickets | Valid for evening & weekend travel at all times

Weekdays | Monday through Friday 4:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Evenings | Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m. - last train
Weekends | All day Saturday, Sunday, and major holidays

Valid tickets purchased before July 1, 2010 will be accepted for travel through August 31, 2010.

After September 1, 2010, customers may receive a full refund by mailing tickets to:
