295 Retirees, Countless SEPTA Memories

Last month, SEPTA honored 295 retired employees at an annual luncheon in Jefferson Station. The annual event recognizes every employee who retired within the past twelve months. This year's class may have set a record as more than half accumulated over 30 years of service to the Authority.

"It makes me proud to see so many individuals who have provided so many years of service to the Authority," SEPTA General Manager Joseph Casey said. "I thank you for all of your hard work and hope that whenever you speak about your career at SEPTA, you speak about it with pride."

As part of SEPTA's year-long 50th Anniversary celebration, retirees were encouraged to share their experiences, insights and memories about the system at a special storyteller station. Be inspired by their reflections in this special video.
