SEPTA Announces Weekday Temporary Schedule Adjustment on Norristown High Speed Line

May 08, 2014

Due to track work, service on SEPTA's Norristown High Speed Line will operate on a revised weekday schedule from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 12-16 and May 19-23. The schedule adjustments are due to single-track operations between Norristown Transportation Center (NTC) and Hughes Park Station.

During those dates and times, trains to NTC will leave 69th Street Transportation Center five minutes later than the scheduled time. Trains to 69th Street will depart NTC two minutes earlier than the scheduled time.

In addition to the time change, there will be a temporary boarding location change at DeKalb Street Station from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. May 12-16 and 19-23. From May 12-16, all trains will board on the inbound platform (toward 69th Street). From May 19-23, all trains will board on the outbound platform (toward NTC). The boarding change will affect DeKalb Street Station only.

The temporary schedule is available online. For more information, customers can also call SEPTA Customer Service at (215) 580-7800.
