Metro Readers - Thanks for Your Questions

Last summer, the Metro newspaper started publishing a special Q-and-A column with the SEPTA GM. The column, which usually runs on Tuesdays, features General Manager Joe Casey's answers to readers' questions about SEPTA.

The main theme of GM Casey's message to our customers is that the quality of each SEPTA ride depends on a partnership between customers and employees, one built on mutual respect and courtesy for each other. Responding to queries from Metro readers is in keeping with this theme.

To show our appreciation to all of the Metro readers who took the time to query Joe, we held a special drawing from the names of everyone who sent in a question.

We are pleased to congratulate the winners:

Irene Fredericks won a $50 Certificate to the Transit Museum Store to be used towards the purchase of any item sold in the store, including transit themed calendars, books, films, toys, collectables and SEPTA logo clothing.

Gretchyn M. Bailey received a Family Independence Pass valid for unlimited travel for one family of up to five persons, traveling together on any one day, on all regularly scheduled SEPTA service.

Joan Tait, Emerson Tjart and James Jackson each won an Independence Pass valid for unlimited travel for one  person, on any one day, on all regularly scheduled SEPTA service.

Thanks to all who sent in a question. Have a question for the GM you'd like answered? Send it to the Metro at sleach@metro.us.
