SEPTA Inspires Students with "Dreams in Transit" Exhibitions

Manuel McDonnell Smith
Public Information Manager

At three different locations, SEPTA commuters have had their daily commutes brightened by a splash of color and inspiration from the "Dreams in Transit" displays. Each display was created and curated by The Dream Flags Project, an international program for student empowerment and global awareness. SEPTA's unique partnership with the project is explored in the following video:

The "Dreams In Transit" displays on SEPTA were designed to motivate commuters, add a splash a beauty to each station and serve as a visible reminder to students everywhere that their dreams matter. In addition to viewing the artwork, commuters have also been encouraged to interact with the displays by taking their own photos and sharing them on social media with the hash tags #iseptaphilly and #dreamflags to show their support.

Through December 2014, "Dreams in Transit" will remain on prominent display at Jefferson Station (Center City), 69th Street (Upper Darby)and Frankford Transportation Centers. Additional information about the project is available at
