46th Street Station scheduled to open April 14th
Service to 46th Street Station on the Market-Frankford Line is schedule to return today, Monday, April 14th.  The new station will be ADA accessible, with two elevators.  Riders should be advised that with the opening of this El stop, the
64 and 31 buses will return to their original detour routing.  

Broad Street Line Express Service Set For Flyers Playoff
SEPTA will provide Broad Street Line “Sports Express” service on Tuesday (April 15) and Thursday (April 17), for the Philadelphia Flyers NHL Eastern Conference semi-final playoff home games against the Washington Capitals. More...  

SEPTA Announces New Measures To Enhance Security
SEPTA today announced new security measures it is implementing to enhance safety for passengers who use its mass transit system.  The efforts include increased patrols by the SEPTA Transit Police Department, a review by SEPTA’s Board of Directors to permanently increase the size of its police force and the advanced installation of its “Smart Stations” project to further safeguard SEPTA stations and facilities.  More...

Community Meeting for Route 11 Trolley Track Renewal Project
SEPTA plans to excavate, renew and pave approximately 4,000 feet of eastbound and westbound tracks on Woodland Avenue from 60th Street to 68th Street.  A Community Meeting regarding the renewal project will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 6p.m.  The meeting will be held at the 12th Police District Station Roll Call Room, 65th and Woodland Avenue.

Clean Air Run
SEPTA is a proud sponsor of the Clean Air Council's 27th 5K Run for Clean Air, which will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008.  The 5K course is flat, fast and winds through the park along the Schuylkill River along Martin Luther King Drive (by the Philadelphia Museum of Art).  The run starts at 9:00 a.m. and registration begins at 7:30 a.m. but you can save $5 on the registration fee by registering in advance.
