New SEPTA "Zoo Link" Offers Direct, Frequent Bus Service To The Philadelphia Zoo From 30th Street Station Sponsored by the Philadelphia Zoo and the University City District, the new bus route will make visiting the world renowned zoo easier just in time for the Memorial Day weekend. Running every half hour on Saturdays and Sundays between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., riders can board the Zoo Link at 30th Street Station (30th Street & John F. Kennedy Boulevard) and then make the 10-minute trip to the main gate of the zoo. Trips from the zoo back to 30th Street Station also leave from the zoo’s main gate every 30 minutes throughout the day. Regular SEPTA fares, tokens and passes will be valid for Zoo Link service. SEPTA riders will also find that all regional rail routes, subway-surface trolley routes and the Market-Frankford Line offer frequent and direct service to the 30th Street Station transportation center. In addition, weekend parking at all regional rail stations is free. The Zoo Link is scheduled to operate through Labor Day (September 3).
