Philadelphia Flower Show "Bella Italia" - March 1 through March 8 SEPTA is a great way to
travel to the Convention Center for
the Flower Show and avoid the hefty parking fees and traffic
congestion of Center City Philadelphia, while helping save the
environment. The Philadelphia Flower Show is considered the
premier gardening event of its kind due in large part to the
exceptional talent of the designers and their ability to exhibit such a
great variety of exceptional plants for the show. SEPTA is making travel to the show convenient by temporarily suspending wire work and adding midday, weekday service on the Lansdale/Doylestown (R5) Line between March 2 and March 6. The additional inbound trains will depart Lansdale at 9:16 a.m., 10:16 a.m., 11:16 a.m., 12:16 p.m., 1:16 p.m. and 2:16 p.m. Outbound trains will begin at 30th Street Station and leave Market East Station at 9:52 a.m., 10:35 a.m., 11:35 a.m., 12:35 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. Customers are encouraged to review the special train schedule for times from intermediate stations. A nonstop, express train will run on the Trenton (R7) Line March 1st, 7th and 8th. The train is scheduled to depart Trenton Transit Center at 11:53 a.m. and arrive Market East Station at 12:45 p.m. In the evening, the train will leave Market East at 7:03 p.m. and arrive Trenton Transit Center at 7:52 p.m. A convenient connection to NJ Transit is available from the same platform. Download and print the schedule All Regional Rail lines stop at Market East Station, located between 10th & 12th Street and Arch Street. The Market-Frankford Line at 11st Street Station is within walking distance to the Convention Center. Bus Routes 23 and 48 provide direct access to the Convention Center, while Routes 9, 12, 17, 21, 27, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 47, 61, 121, 124, 125 and C stop just blocks away. Extended
Ticket Office Hours
Save money off the regular admission price when you purchase your 2009 Flower Show ticket through SEPTA Save $3.00 off the Saturday, March 7th or Sunday, March 8th weekend ticket price; and $1.00 off the weekday ticket price. In
addition to the discounted admission tickets, customers can
purchase the Bouquet Pass,
a SEPTA fare
instrument providing unlimited travel on buses, trolleys,
subways
and Regional Rail for one day during the show for $9.00 (Use of this
pass is prohibited on AM peak hour Regional Rail trains and for all
travel to and from New Jersey).
Tickets and Bouquet Passes are available at any of these locations:
*The Bouquet Pass is valid for unlimited travel on any regularly scheduled
SEPTA service on a single day during the 2009 Philadelphia Flower Show.
Use of this pass on Regional Rail is prohibited on A.M. peak hour
trains and for all travel to and from stations in the State of New
Jersey. Present to operator, cashier or conductor for inspection and
cancellation. This pass may not be transferred to another after initial
use. This pass is non-redeemable and non-refundable. Please make your
