How To Pay For Overnight Parking

Using A Coin Slotbox
If you are parking in a lot with a coin slotbox, payment must be made by check and placed in an envelope provided by the customer. All checks must be made payable to SEPTA. The amount should equal the number of week days to be parked times the chargeable rate ($1 per day). The envelope should contain the following information:

Parking space number

Car description: make and license plate number

The date you parked the vehicle and the date you will retrieve your vehicle (total number of days of your stay)

Place the envelope with your payment in the envelope slot located on the back of the coin slotbox.

Remember, parking on Saturday, Sunday and major holidays is free.

Electronic Parking Meter Locations
If you are parking at a facility with electronic parking meters, be certain to pay at the one meter designated for multi-day parking. (Coins only, no credit/debit cards.)

Meters accepting multi-day parking payment are identified with the following numbers located in the lower left corner of the machine:

#10 at Ambler

#23 at Fort Washington

#24 at Jenkintown

#30 at North Wales

#4 at Trevose

#19 at Warminster

#3 at Fern Rock

#9 at 69th Street

#54 at Malvern

#48 at Croydon

Elwyn & Exton: See below

Instructions on how to pay for overnight/multi-day parking can be found on the designated multi-day electronic parking meters. Please be sure to retain your receipt as proof of payment, although the receipt does not have to be displayed in your car. Also note that the above machines will accept no more than 25 coins. Anyone parking for more than 6 weekdays will have to use dollar coins to stay under the limit. (This coin limit does not pertain to either Elwyn or Exton Stations.)

Elwyn & Exton Stations
All electronic meters at these two stations will credit one day parking for each dollar in coins inserted. If you require four days of parking, first enter your space number, then deposit $4 in coins. (Bills and credit cards are not accepted.) The meter will display 24 hours for each dollar (coins only) inserted. These meters do not provide receipts, so please confirm the correct space number before depositing any coins.

If you require further information about Overnight Parking, please call 215 580-3400 at least one day in advance.
