Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority Serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties
The Citizen Advisory Committee acts as an independent representative and advocate on behalf of our customers in the five county region of Southeastern Pennsylvania served by SEPTA.
The committee's major concerns are the quality of service, including reliability and frequency, speed, cleanliness, safety and security; fares; policies; financing and planning; and accountability.
The Citizen Advisory Committee holds three meetings a month.
The Transit Subcommittee meeting discusses policy and operation of our services except Regional Rail.
The Regional Rail Subcommittee meeting discusses policy and operation of Regional Rail.
The Plenary meeting is a review of subcommittee findings and general transportation discussion.
A meeting of the Executive Committee occurs immediately after the Plenary meeting.
Members of the committee are expected to attend all Plenary meetings and one of the subcommittee meetings each month.
Meetings, except of the Executive Committee, are open to the public.
Citizen Advisory Committee members are appointed by the County Commissioners in which the member resides, the Mayor of Philadelphia, or the SEPTA General Manager. Now accepting applications from Bucks and Montgomery County residents.
