Tip #12 - Train View New Website Feature Offering Up-To-Date Regional Rail Train Status Information
SEPTA is pleased to launch Train View, your personal status report for all Regional Rail trains on the system. It is a handy reference tool that can help save you time and waiting, so before you go to the train, go to Train View right from the home page at www.septa.org or make it one of your favorites at: http://trainview.septa.org.
What you will see: Train View shows the status of every train currently operating on the system and indicates whether it's on-time or delayed. Trains delayed by 1-5 minutes will be shown as on-time. At the 6 minute mark, Train View will yellow highlight the train and the number of minutes it's delayed. The system automatically updates every 3 minutes so you can get the most current information available about your train.
What you need to know about your train: On Train View, service information is listed by the train number. Each train number is unique, so there's no chance you’ll get the wrong status information, as long as you have the correct number. You may never have noticed them before, but these numbers appear on our printed schedules (and the PDF web versions), at the top of the column with the train times, and in the left hand column on the text-only web versions.

Trains are listed in numerical order on Train View to make it a little easier to get information on the status of your trip.
