Tip #4 - Upcoming Timetable Changes and Construction News

Spring will be busy for Regional Rail so we wanted to give you a heads up about some new timetables and temporary service changes due to maintenance project work. As always, all dates for construction work are subject to change due to operational and weather conditions. Please look for notices at your rail station with specific details and dates.

R1 Airport
Sunday, April 16, 2006 - New Schedule Goes Into Effect
• New early morning train leaving Glenside to the Airport at 4:29 a.m.

R3 West Trenton
Sunday, April 16, 2006 - New Schedule Goes Into Effect
• Check for midday service changes

April 17-18, 2006 ONLY
• The following trains from Suburban Station to West Trenton should expect in-service delays due to overhead wire replacement work:
     •  8:17 a.m. – 21 minute delay at Neshaminy
     •  9:24 a.m. – 11 minute delay at Neshaminy

R3 Media/Elwyn
Sunday, April 16, 2006 - New Schedule Goes Into Effect
• Check for midday service changes

R5 Paoli/Thorndale
Amtrak Track Work – Until Further Notice
• Regular schedule in effect.  Possible travel delays may occur during Off-Peak hours

R5 Lansdale/Doylestown
Monday, April 17, 2006 – August, 2006 - Supplemental Schedule Goes Into Effect for Midday Trains
• Buses will substitute for midday trains (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Monday-Friday between Lansdale and Doylestown Stations
