Stabilize areas of slope and track bed failure near milepost 17 caused by heavy rains and poor soil conditions. Temporary repairs have been made however permanent repairs must be completed to support the planned restoration of rail service between Elwyn and Wawa. Project work includes construction of retaining walls between Lungren Rd (MP 17.13) and Lenni Road (MP 17.35). In addition, deteriorated catenary structures and retaining walls in the area of the slope failure will be repaired or replaced.
