El Weekend Shutdown
between 40th Street Station and 69th Street Terminal

Friday, May 16 at 8:00 p.m. through
Monday, May 19 at 5:00 a.m.

Due to the MSE (Market Street Elevated) reconstruction project in West Philadelphia and Delaware County, bus service will substitute regular El service between 40th Street Station and 69th Street Terminal. 

There will be no El service operating beyond 40th Street to 46th Street, 52nd Street, 56th Street, 60th Street, 63rd Street or Millbourne Station.  El Shuttle buses will travel westbound along Walnut Street to 69th Street and eastbound along Chestnut Street to 40th Street.

A special El Shutdown Weekend train schedule - only in effect on the Saturday and Sunday during a weekend shutdown - is also available to customers.

Subway-Surface Tunnel Closure
late night diversion routing to 40th & Market

12:01 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Due to routine maintenance, the Subway-Surface Tunnel will be closed during the date and time listed above and service will be diverted to 40th & Market Street.  Customers continuing travel to Center City Philadelphia should connect to the Market-Frankford Line Night Owl bus service at 40th Street.
 

ROUTE 100 (NORRISTOWN HIGH SPEED LINE)

Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 14
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Due to infrastructure renewal work, all inbound Route 100 trains (heading towards 69th Street Terminal) will board from the outbound platform at Hughes Park, Gulph Mills, Matsonford, County Line and Radnor.

Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Due to infrastructure renewal work, all inbound Route 100 trains (heading towards 69th Street Terminal) will board from the outbound platform at Villanova, Stadium, Garrett Hill and Rosemont.

Due to infrastructure renewal work, all outbound Route 100 trains (heading towards Norristown Transportation Center) will board from the inbound platform at Parkview.

Due to infrastructure renewal work, all outbound Route 100 trains (heading towards Norristown Transportation Center) will board from the inbound platform at West Overbrook, Penfield, Beechwood-Brookline and Wynnewood Road
 

ROUTE 101 TROLLEY



Route 101

Boarding Location Change
between Drexel Hill and Scenic Road

Monday through Friday
daily between 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Due to tie replacement and surfacing, all Route 101 service will board from the inbound track (heading towards 69th Street Terminal) at Drexeline, DrexelbrookAnderson Avenue, Aronimink, School Lane, and Huey Avenue station. 
 

All dates for construction work are subject to change due to operational and weather conditions.
